Job Description
Summary
The intern will be introduced do basic research techniques and biomedical methods, as well as biomedical imaging and basic image analysis methods.
Job Duties
- Performs entry level administrative or laboratory duties.
- Observes tasks related to field of study or career interest.
- Works with other laboratory members to assist them with simple biomedical experiments and record keeping.
- Attends weekly laboratory meetings.
- Trains in laboratory safety.
- Learns proper record keeping and laboratory ethics.
- Assists with special projects/programs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in high school, trade/vocational school or higher education institution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Must graduate from high school by the time of the start of the internship.
- Accepted to an undergraduate program in a STEM field.
