Job Summary
The Applications and Analytics Solutions Manager is responsible for managing and ensuring the integrity of the data infrastructure and analytics framework that supports a clinically integrated supply chain across the clinical enterprise. This role leads a team of analysts and developers to build custom applications, visualization tools, and management reports that optimize the value and operational gains from existing and emerging technologies. The role develops and implements Master Data Strategy for supply chain in conjunction with the wider institutional data strategy, maintains the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of data for analytics, and collaborates directly with operational leaders to design and deliver technology solutions that improve clinical supply utilization and supply chain performance. Additionally, this position plays a central role in driving adoption of advanced innovations including AI and ensuring analytic initiatives align with organizational goals. The role is responsible for ensuring all data management and technology solutions adhere to health system data privacy, security, and compliance policies.

Responsibilities*
Data Infrastructure & Analytics Framework:

Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable data infrastructure and analytics platforms to support a clinically integrated supply chain.
Lead the design and implementation of robust data management processes, ensuring high standards in data quality, accuracy, governance, and security.
Oversee end-to-end data stewardship, from acquisition and integration through storage, cleansing, and transformation.
Master Data Strategy:

Establish and enforce a comprehensive master data management (MDM) strategy for supply chain, including item, vendor, contract, and clinical supply data.
Develop and implement controls to ensure consistency, reliability, and accessibility of critical supply chain data across systems.
Collaborate with IT and operational counterparts to resolve data quality issues and implement best practices for data governance, stewardship, and security.
Custom Applications & Analytics Development:

Lead a team of analysts and developers in designing and developing custom applications, dashboards, and reporting solutions to address unique operational needs not met by existing SaaS or ERP platforms.
Partner with supply chain operations, clinical leadership, and IT to understand business needs and translate them into scalable, high-impact technical solutions.
Manage the full development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, build, deployment, and ongoing support.
Data Visualization, Reporting, and Business Intelligence:

Direct the identification, implementation, and optimization of data visualization tools and dashboards to support actionable insights and performance monitoring.
Ensure management reporting and analytics align with business objectives, drive value-based sourcing, and improve clinical supply utilization.
Advance analytic capabilities to support evidence-based decision-making throughout the clinical enterprise.
Technology, Security & Innovation Leadership:

Define and communicate the technical and data strategy for the supply chain organization, ensuring alignment with the broader clinical enterprise and health system strategy.
Evaluate and drive adoption of emerging technologies including AI, advanced analytics, and process automation to improve operational outcomes and supply chain performance.
Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices in supply chain data management, analytics, technological innovation, and data security.
Uphold and ensure compliance with all organizational and regulatory data privacy and security standards (e.g., HIPAA), including promoting best practices for ethical and secure use of data and technology throughout the team and project lifecycle.
Operational Support & Strategic Initiatives:

Partner with clinical operations, sourcing, finance, and IT to align data strategies with health system priorities, cost-improvement initiatives, and patient care goals.
Provide data-driven analysis to support sourcing, contracting, and procurement strategies, contributing to value-based care and cost-efficiency.
Lead change management and user adoption efforts for new data systems, tools, and analytics practices within the supply chain organization.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:

Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of analysts, developers, and technical specialists.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the team and across functional areas.
Establish and track key performance metrics; communicate results and progress to internal stakeholders and executive leadership.
Required Qualifications*
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in data analytics, information management, application development, or supply chain solutions preferably within a healthcare environment.
Proven experience leading technical teams (analysts, developers) and managing complex, cross-functional projects.
Expertise in master data management, data governance, data privacy, security, and analytics toolsets (e.g., Tableau, Power BI,).
Experience with custom application development (web, mobile, or enterprise) and integration with SaaS/ERP platforms.
Familiarity with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or advanced analytics solutions is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to adhering to data privacy and technology security standards, especially in a healthcare context.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Desired Qualifications*
Direct experience in healthcare supply chain, clinical operations, or related environments.
In-depth knowledge of health system ERP or supply chain systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Lawson, Oracle, Epic).
Experience with regulatory requirements and best practices for healthcare data security and privacy (e.g., HIPAA).
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Certification or advanced training in project management, Lean/Six Sigma, or relevant technical domains a plus.
Experience with .NET entity framework applications
