Job Description

Position Overview
This position reviews customer requirements, creates test cases, executes testing plans using testing tools and automation, and tests applications, databases, or systems developed against the test cases to ensure requirements are met and issues are identified.

Duties may include:
Creation of test plans, test concepts and the planning and control of all test activities
Executing test cases
Documenting and evaluating test results
Detecting, logging, and reporting issues and bugs
Tracking defects and assisting with troubleshooting errors
Reviewing test procedures and developing test scripts
Partnering with product management and development to drive QA efforts
Other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications
Required Experience
Designing, developing, modifying, implementing, or testing software
Communicating technical information to general audiences
Working in a team environment to accomplish shared goals
Required Education
High School Diploma or equivalent

Additional Preferred
Experience in Agile frameworks
Experience with regression testing
Proficient in test management software
Good working knowledge of programming languages
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
