MT-CI Data Support Specialist

Job Summary:

The BMT-CI Data Support Specialist is responsible for providing support to the BMT Data team.

Candidate will provide assistance in accurate cancer, blood and marrow transplantation data selection from medical, diagnostic, and therapeutic records in compliance with standards of the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Registry (CIBMTR), the National Marrow Donors Program (NMDP), and internal BMT program goals. This position will provide support in the accurate entry of data into the BMT program database (BRAIN), data management, and the reporting of patient specific data to the CIBMTR/NMDP registries. 

   

Credentials and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED minimum
  • Associate’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year of data entry and data management experience navigating electronic and other forms of medical record keeping
  • Experience with medical data entry into electronic relational databases.
  • Experience in a medical research facility
