Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated postdoctoral fellows to work at the Center for Translational Biomedical Research at University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
This position is expected to perform NIH-funded basic research focusing on the pathogenesis of alcohol-associated liver disease. Areas of research interests include (1) lipid metabolic disorder in fatty liver disease, (2) Kupffer cell dysfunction in hepatic inflammation, and (3) intestinal immune dysfunction and dysbiosis in systemic PAMP translocation. These research interests are reflected in our representative recent publications, including Hepatology 2020 (PMID 31520476), Gut 2021 (PMID 33177163), Hepatology 2023 (PMID 36626632), and Metabolism 2023 (PMID 36349655).
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in biomedicine. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
