Compensation:
Pay Range: $15.50 - $19.50 / hour

Job Description:
To assume responsibility for certain technical aspects of patient care as directed by the RN/LPN for the hospital. To obtain and record vitals, weight, inputs and outputs. To successfully complete an in-house PCT training program. To demonstrate an awareness of patient and personal safety.

1. Performs certain technical patient care duties in the hospital as directed by the staff nurse such as oral suctioning, oxygen setup, trach care, Foley catheter care, venipuncture, pulse oximetry setup, ostomy care, specimen collection and EKGs.

2. Obtains and records vitals, weight, inputs and outputs.

3. Orients patients to environment upon admission.

4. Assists patients with activities of daily living.

5. Demonstrates an awareness of patient and personal safety.

6. Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required. Certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within thirty (30) days of date of employment required.
