Job Description

Job Overview
Maintain and ensure the ongoing reliability, performance, management, and support of ERP application environments. Act as a subject matter expert with advanced and/or expert level proficiency sufficient to assist, consult, or lead others in the application of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Essential Functions
Maintain and ensure the reliable performance of ERP system(s) and applications usage. Lead in the development and execution of ERP and business process best practices across the organization. Design application system architecture specific to ERP technologies for solution integration. Work on projects.
Contribute to strategic planning meetings and provide guidance and expertise on system options, risk, cost vs. benefits, and impacts on departmental processes and goals.
Provide subject matter expert and technical direction while leading complex projects requiring multiple areas of expertise. Lead and coordinate new software releases, fixes, and upgrades with technical teams and end users. Recommend new features or changes to configuration/workflows based on user feedback.
Collaborate with project management leadership to prioritize production release updates and upgrades. Lead the installation for upgrades and patches for the enterprise ERP system. Create and oversee all necessary technical checklists to ensure completion of upgrades.
Engage with industry groups and relevant forums. Lead peer knowledge sharing groups. Counsel users on technology changes that will impact work processes. Research and evaluate emerging ERP technologies.
Mentors and/or coaches junior-level staff.
May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Eight (8) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
Four (4) years of business and/or ERP implementation experience.
Experience with systems and database administration
Skilled in multiple technical environments and knowledge of a specific business area.
Additional Qualifications Considered
Certification in specific areas, e.g. Basis, Oracle, Hana, etc.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
