Job DescriptionPosition Highlights The Center for English as a Second Language (CESL) at the University of Arizona is the only CEA accredited (Commission on English Language Program Accreditation) in Arizona. CESL offers high-quality English language and teacher training programs on main campus and around the world. Currently, CESL is searching for an Administrative Associate to assist the Business Manager in all aspects of the CESL business office.

Duties & Responsibilities
Performs a variety of administrative duties including document preparation, scheduling, meeting and event coordination, travel arrangements, website updates, record keeping, supply inventory and data entry.
Creates and updates departmental files, databases and reports.
Provides guidance and assistance as needed to students, faculty, researchers and other staff on policies, practices and procedures.
May oversee the work of students.
Coordinates complex processes and initiatives that require significant judgement such as grant proposals, faculty searches, or complicated course scheduling.
Composes and edits complex internal and external correspondence and documents such as manuscript submissions for journals.
Creates and oversees complex record-keeping systems and databases.
Prioritizes workload, meetings, and appointments to meet work unit operations. Assists in the coordination and implementation of multiple projects.
Analyzes complex information. Laying out information in reports and documents in ways that enhances readability.
Monitors, reviews, and approves standard expenditures to ensure the activities of the office are conducted within established budgets.
High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
Experience working on multiple projects and during high-volume peak times of year
Experience communicating with multiple stakeholders both internal and external
Experience in MS Office such as Outlook (email and calendar), Word, Excel, etc.
Experience in researching policies and procedures to solve problems to support faculty, CESL Director and Business Manager
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required
Bachelor's degree in business or related field
Experience working with international students
Experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud
